Het komende Belgische EU-voorzitterschap, dat loopt van 1 januari tot 30 juni 2024, organiseert de Europese conferentie 'Lokaal jeugdwerk en democratie'. Het doel? Bijdragen tot de doelstellingen van het Belgische EU-voorzitterschap op het gebied van jeugd- en jongerenwerk. Wil jij hieraan meewerken als facilitator? Lees dan snel verder!

- Het evenement zal plaatsvinden op 20 tot 23 februari 2024.
- Het belangrijkste doel van de conferentie is om te discussiëren over de rol van lokaal jeugdwerk in het verbeteren van de betrokkenheid en participatie van jongeren in lokale gemeenschappen.
- Dit evenement bouwt verder op de strategische samenwerkingen die voortkomen uit de projecten Europe Goes Local (gecoördineerd door JINT) en Democracy Reloading (gecoördineerd door BIJ).
- Het delen van inspirerende praktijken zal een van de cruciale elementen van het evenement zijn.
JINT vzw is op zoek naar twee algemene facilitatoren om de plenaire sessies van het evenement te faciliteren en een digitale facilitator om het hele team te ondersteunen met de integratie van digitale tools in de flow van de conferentie. Stel je kandidaat voor 15 augustus.

We are looking for inspiring practices from local youth work and participation
The upcoming Belgian EU Presidency (1/1/2024 – 30/6/2024) foresees to organise the European conference ‘Local youth work and democracy’, with the aim of contributing to the goals of the Belgian EU Presidency in the youth and youth work policy area.
- The event will take place on 20-23 February 2024.
- The main aim of the conference is to discuss the role of local youth work in enhancing youth engagement and participation in local communities.
- This event builds on the synergies deriving from the Strategic National Agency Cooperation projects, Europe Goes Local (coordinated by JINT vzw) and Democracy Reloading (coordinated by BIJ).
- Sharing inspiring practices will be one of the crucial elements of the event.
JINT vzw is looking for two general facilitators to facilitate the plenary sessions of the event and a digital facilitator to support the whole team with the integration of digital tools into the flow of the conference. Deadline to apply is the 15th of August.
